The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
